Best thing was the employees, who were super friendly and helpful.

We arrived at 3:45; apparently the store closes at 4, so perhaps that aided in the mediocre food.

But I was glad to grab something to eat before going into a conference.

I cannot say enough about this location. I'm out of town and the restaurant managers, Daniel and Felicia, and his staff immediately worked with my extremely limited breakfast food options to put together a real breakfast for me, sympathizing with my current predicament. They looked up ingredients and we ended up with a creative and delicious breakfast....no salad anywhere!! Daniel's ability to connect with my need, help me figure out a solution, and Felicia's willingness to look up food ingredients to make sure there were no hidden surprises....I can't say enough. And, it was delicious. Go here.

The compressor on the soda machine is mighty loud!

    Their Anaheim paninis are delicious.

I would love it if they had better quality coffee however.

I have tried to like be Europca coffee but I just does not taste good.

I will continue coming here for their delicious breakfast sandwiches however.

The staff is super friendly also

On an average day, in the average town of Averageville, Averagezona, Corner Bakery is your average cafe.

This is the type of spot you don't go out of your way for, but is perfect for lunch if you work in the plaza; don't even consider this place for dinner. In fact, corner is ONLY open for breakfast and lunch. This small, but important, fact has caught me on a number of occasions on weekends and evenings going to the movie theater just next door and thinking I would stop in for a bite. I've been burned more times than I care to remember by their early closing hour. I usually end up at something else nearby.

I've probably been 20-30 times and can attest that they get the order right about 4 out of 5 times. Sometimes they miss removing the mayo, sometimes it's the tomatoes I asked to leave off, sometimes it's a missed item altogether. They're always happy to bring the missed item, or fix it if I request, I usually just pull the tomatoes off if they come along, no big deal.

If you join their email and text list, they send out a promo at least once every week or two, which saves a few dollars here and there. The quality of the food is consistent and I find that I gravitate to the same few items when I go for lunch. The club sandwich panini, chicken pomodori, or the ham and Swiss. Their pastas are decent enough for a lunch, but nothing I would write home about and their salads are decent as well, although I've heard people complain about the avocado and have seen it come out a bit on the brown spectrum myself.

This is the dictionary description of an average restaurant. To be honest, I don't think they'd do too well if it weren't for the scarce food options in the plaza, most everything else is table service and is going to cost you a good $3-$6 more for your meal, with the exception of the national sub sandwich chain a few doors down.

    Happy Yelping Phoenix!

I'd never been here for breakfast before and I was so impressed by the healthy selection of breakfast foods on the menu. The variety was spectacular and there were plenty of vegetarian options. The staff was so polite and brought our food out promptly! Overall I was incredibly satisfied. I got the egg, cheddar, avocado, and spinach power flat with a side of potatoes and it was delicious. There was also a great selection of coffee from lighter roasts to a darker blend.
